I'm Obi, and this is my story

Obi Vincent (AKA ‘The Crossliftr’) is one of the UK’s leading fitness content creators who has developed a global appeal due to his unique blend of conditioning and bodybuilding training.

Born in Nigeria, Obi moved to the UK at age 11 and was a self-professed introvert at school. A lack of sport combined with an unhealthy diet led Obi to gain weight during his teens; at his heaviest he weighed 100kg. At the age of 18, Obi decided to turn his life around and documented his reinvention via social media.

Having personally experienced huge benefits from the change in his diet and adopting a disciplined training regimen, Obi decided to become a personal trainer with the intention of helping others better themselves. Obi’s online training methodology has now blossomed into a diverse online training program with hundreds of thousands of individuals following his daily workouts on Instagram, his videos on YouTube, his best-selling online programs, and now, his app.

In addition to his focus on strength and conditioning, Obi is passionate about raising awareness of mental health issues, often documenting his own struggles to normalize the negative stigma often associated with mental health. Obi’s slogan ‘BREAKTHEMOULD’ is all about encouraging the global fitness community to step outside of their comfort zone and to have fun doing so.
